Meet Our Equestrian Training Team in St. Petersburg

Tucked away in Largo, Florida, Hasenbeck Equestrian has been one of Pinellas County's best-kept secrets since 1995. What began as a commitment to quality horsemanship has grown into a full-service hunter/jumper boarding and training facility, home to 32 clean, fully equipped stalls and a team that treats every horse and rider like family. Our horses enjoy daily turnout, personalized care, and all the supplements and blanketing they need — because we believe a happy, healthy horse is the foundation of everything else we do.

At the heart of Hasenbeck Equestrian are trainers Lisa Hasenbeck and Stephanie Burnham, who bring more than 40 years of combined equestrian experience to our program. Lisa's journey began in Kansas, where she trained and competed at the highest levels before bringing her expertise to Florida, building a reputation over 25+ years as a skilled rider, trainer, and coach who develops both horses and riders with patience, consistency, and proven results. Stephanie's 17+ years of experience span hunter/jumpers, dressage, and western pleasure, and her philosophy is simple: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. She tailors every program to the individual rider, emphasizing safety, classical technique, and the kind of deep horsemanship that builds a true partnership between horse and rider. Together, Lisa and Stephanie offer a robust schedule of lessons, clinics, and monthly horse shows for riders of all levels — from first-timers finding their seat to competitors chasing the ribbon.
